1. Stable air pressure: (1) Since the variable frequency screw air compressor utilizes the stepless speed regulation characteristics of the frequency converter, it can start smoothly through the controller or the PID regulator inside the frequency converter; it can also quickly adjust and respond to occasions with large fluctuations in gas consumption; (2) Compared with the upper and lower limit switch control of industrial frequency operation, the air pressure stability is exponentially improved

2. No shock at start-up: (1) Since the frequency converter itself contains the function of a soft starter, the maximum starting current is within 1.2 times the rated current. Compared with the industrial frequency start-up, which is generally more than 6 times the rated current, the starting shock is very small. (2) This shock is not only to the power grid, but also to the entire mechanical system.

3. Variable flow control: (1) The industrial frequency driven air compressor can only work at one exhaust volume, while the variable frequency air compressor can work in a wider range of exhaust volumes. The frequency converter adjusts the motor speed according to the actual gas consumption to control the exhaust volume. (2) When the gas consumption is low, the air compressor can be automatically put into sleep mode, which greatly reduces energy loss.

4. Better adaptability to the voltage of the AC power supply: (1) The inverter adopts overmodulation technology, which can still output sufficient torque to drive the motor when the AC power supply voltage is slightly low; when the voltage is slightly high, it will not cause the output voltage to the motor to be too high; (2) For self-generated occasions, the variable frequency drive can better show its advantages; (3) According to the characteristics of the motor VF (the variable frequency air compressor works below the rated voltage in the energy-saving state), the effect is obvious for sites with low grid voltage.

5. Low noise: Most operating conditions of the variable frequency system are working below the rated speed, the mechanical noise and wear of the main engine are reduced, and the maintenance and service life are extended.
