The main engine of the air compressor is the core part of the air compressor and operates at high speed for a long time. Since the components and bearings have their corresponding service life, preventive main engine overhaul must be carried out after it has been running for a certain period of time or years. 1. Gap adjustment

A. The radial gap between the male and female rotors of the main engine increases. The direct consequence is that the compressor leakage (ie back leakage) increases during the compression of the air compressor, and the volume of compressed air discharged from the machine becomes smaller. Reflected in efficiency is the reduction in the compression efficiency of the compressor.

B. The increase in the gap between the yin and yang rotors and the rear end cover and bearings will mainly affect the sealing and compression efficiency of the compressor. At the same time, it will have a great impact on the service life of the yin and yang rotors. Adjust the rotor gap during overhaul to avoid scratches or wear on the rotor and shell.

C. The gap between the main screws, the cross section of the screw and the end faces of the front and rear bearing seats is too large, which directly results in noise, which is often referred to as abnormal noise of the air compressor. If this situation occurs and is not dealt with in time, it is easy for the end faces to stick, the end face of the bearing seat at the rear of the loading seat, and the end face of the bearing seat at the front of the unloading seat. As a result, the nose of the machine suddenly dies, and the repair cost will be much higher at that time.

2. Wear treatment

As we all know, as long as the machinery is running, there will be wear. Under normal circumstances, due to the lubrication of lubricating oil (commonly known as: air compressor oil), the wear will be reduced a lot, but long-term high-speed operation. The wear is slowly increasing. Screw air compressors generally use imported bearings, and their service life is also limited to 30 About 000h. 3. Host cleaning

The internal components of the air compressor host have been in a high-temperature, high-pressure environment for a long time. Coupled with the high-speed operation, there will be dust and impurities in the ambient air. After these small solid substances enter the machine, they will accumulate along with the carbon deposits in the lubricating oil. If they accumulate over time and form larger solid blocks, it may cause the host to jam.

4. Cost increase

Cost here refers to maintenance costs and electricity costs. Since the main engine of the air compressor has been running for a long time without overhaul, the wear of components increases, and some worn impurities remain in the main engine cavity, which will shorten the life of the lubricant. At the same time, due to impurities, the use time of the oil and gas separator core and the oil filtration period is greatly shortened, resulting in increased maintenance costs. In terms of power costs, due to increased friction and reduced compression efficiency, power costs will inevitably increase.
